Pre-Application Preparation:
Care should be taken to ensure that the cement-based surfaces of the buildings to be repaired are solid, bearing, dust-free and clean. Any kind of oil, grease etc. that will weaken the adherence of the surface. It should be thoroughly cleaned of residues. The edges of the surface created by breaking should be cut as perpendicular as possible, the rust on the reinforcement should be removed, and new reinforcement should be added if necessary. If there is water current on the surface, it should be drained or closed with a suitable plug. The application surface should be saturated with water, but there should be no free water on the surface.
Water Mixing Ratio:
Tamires R8 TX/FL/GR | 1 Kg. for powder | 25 Kg. for bag |
Mixing Water Amount | 0,14-0,16 liter | 3,5-4,0 liter |
Application:
Trowel Application: The prepared mortar is applied to the surface with a trowel or spraying in a single layer of 10-40 mm. In thicker applications, the second layer is applied in the same way after the first layer has dried on the maximum application thickness of the product. In cases where a smooth surface finish is desired, the mortar is expected to absorb its water and the plaster is sprinkled on the mortar that has been pulled with a brush, and the surface is finished with a steel or wooden trowel.
Mold Application: It should be poured continuously from one side of the mold in accordance with the maximum application conditions of the product. Thicker applications can be applied in 2 or 3 layers. Bilateral casting should be avoided. In order to ensure that all the gaps in the mold are filled, it should be placed using a steel wire with a hook end. After the application, molds should not be taken before 18-24 hours. Large surfaces open to atmosphere should be protected against rapid evaporation.
Warnings:
Avoid application at temperatures below + 5ºC and above + 35ºC. Newly completed applications should be protected against adverse weather effects such as direct sunlight, excessive air flow, high air temperature (above + 35ºC), rain and frost in the first days. Avoid direct contact with water within the first 24 hours of the completed application. Never add powder and water to the expired or crusted mortar in the container, discard the mortar. Wash all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use.
The amount of consumption is the values calculated theoretically in the laboratory environment; We recommend that consumption control sample application be made before the application.
